Tubbies are not structural so I wouldn't sweat it, someone did not do a good layup on that one, call it hatin if you want to Bob guys , just telling it like it is.

Thats an air pocket, you really need to grind it down to the glass and build it back up with glass, or if you want to do a shady fix mix up some epoxy and cabosil put it in a large cattle syringe and fill in the hole.

All this talk of corrosion matters not unless the ski is found, don't listen to these guys put your efforts towards finding the ski.

You have the same pump as a 440, its small and is a high RPM pump, it works well in nothing except a race ski that turns a zillion RPM's been there done that have the t-shirt

Yep you can only go so wide without an exhaust bridge, if you do bridge the exhaust you have to drill the piston to cool the bridge, used to have to do this on dirtbikes many years ago

It does not require a lot of money but it is a lot of work, if you are not familiar with using epoxy resin and glass cloth don't attempt it as a pump swap is mandatory as well as strengthening the bulkhead area.
