    Take a propane torch and heat up the steel center hub of the flywheel with the puller attached, then smack the end of the puller bolt with a hammer, sometimes you have to do this several times, tighten the bolt, heat the hub , smack the puller bolt, it should break free. When all else fails...

    Kevlar if you do decide to go that route is best used as an in between layer, lay the kevlar down first then cover it with Biax, carbon,whatever, I would even leave the kevlar a little shy just to be sure the edges of it are covered., its much easier to grind carbon or fiberglass than kevlar.

    Yep I would check cable slack first, make sure it does not open the butterfly any when the bars are turned full lock either way, maybe readjust the cable to make sure it has slack in it, it only take a slight amount of opening at the butterfly with it not under load to cause runaway.

    I have worked with kevlar, its a bitch, it does not sand ,you need special scissors to cut it and it does not grind, if you try to sand or grind it you will sand or grind the resin, the kevlar will remain. You will feel like you are doing this sanding or grinding Kevlar. kevlar is the devil...

    If you buy a seadoo grip kit it comes with the plastic inserts,lagbolts etc, has to be the old style grip kits though, I believe they change them in 98-99, the newer style is doable but you have to cut a funky slot into the end of the bars
