Crank bearings??? If so, not usually something that can be done by the normal persons arsenal of toolage in their garage. Usually requires being sent out for rebuild. Therefore done on an as needed basis.

Using the tach, make a few WOT runs. Then adjust your HS + or -. If the RPMS drop from the initial run then go the opposite way. Do this until you find the highest "peak" RPM.
