    Jet Works Flow Control Valve

i say that is a good starting point... if you add too many washers you could the waterbox out too much and have some meltage on your hands.

    Jet Works Flow Control Valve

really depends... each unit could react a little different, but you probably good with no washers... Atleast that is what Art from Jetworks told me. Art told me the goal for my type of surf riding is about 1.5 psi. He used a pop off gauge to determine bluegtate's FCV psi, which turned out to be...

    Jet Works Flow Control Valve

i think that is the non adjustable one... in order to set the pressure you have use washers on the inside to increase the spring tension. This is compared to the adjustable model where you just twist to modify the spring tension.

    Tray reinstallation questions

usually comes in 12 and 17 oz from what I recall (atleast that is what they had available at Fiberglass Hawaii in Ventura). They call it 1208 and 1708... In addition you can purchase it with or without fiberglass mat on the back, which adds to the weight.

Re enforcing questiong for a SN

Shane, looks like the upper ribs can be ground down. Also, once you get the handle pole bracket off, there will be a dip on the flat surface under the handle pole bracket. you'll need to cut that since it dips inward toward the inside of the ski... when the ski is upside down, you'll out a...

Going Jetskiing, what could possibly go wrong?

ya, that happened... freakin sucked. dead battery in one ski and bad s/s switch in the other... traded batteries on shore, and a wave came up and turned the square on its side onto a 4x4 sticking up at an angle out of the sand. details here... http://www.x-h2o.com/threads/26897 but...

    Longest Ride On a Standup

I heard on that ride that one guy made it all the way back on a bone stock SJ on 1 tank???? Or maybe it was that he only filled up once??? Can't remember now. Atleast that is what Zac was telling me.

    Longest Ride On a Standup

On some worn out reed valve 550's we went about 12 miles to a point and turned around... One ski ran out of gas about 300 yards away from the boat ramp, which was the ski that still had the stock impeller. So went a total of 24 miles on one tank.

Going Jetskiing, what could possibly go wrong?

We watched a guy with a huge sail boat backing down the launch ramp, he slammed on his breaks for some reason, front wench broke free, and the boat slide halfway off the trailer... His whole family was on the boat... That was freakin stupid. We got like 15 guys to pick up the back end and push...

Going Jetskiing, what could possibly go wrong?

on my uncles 750sx with a coffman wet pipe, one of the small couplers gave out and was filling engine compartment up with ex. fumes... He had to ride back like 5 miles with one hand lifting the hood so it could still breathe. that was funny... I've had many many other bad stories also, but don't...

    Jetworks - Absolutely Excellent

I bet your gonna love it... I'm loving my 81.5mm bore 61x ported by jetworks. Art is the man. He will answer any question no matter how basic. He will never make you feel dumb for asking simple questions. I didn't have him assemble my engine, I had DangerBoy (a 20+ year plus pwc veteran) help...
