only way i could tell mine were monkey grips was that the packaging said so... monkey grips come individually packaged with a big monkey on the front.

Taylor curtis swears by the wamilton's mount... which i have heard is the same as the monkey grip... but who truely knows???

Traded my limited chamber for a MOD chamber... I have a question... Should I fill the cross over on my stock dual 38 intake manifold while I'm at it??? If so, what should I use to fill it with? Can each side be blocked off rather than filler the whole crossover?

I used extra bostik i had lying around when i added tubbies... sealed all the tubes, foam holes, and around the bulkhead.

i was under the impression that the top deck of all SJ's 96+ were hand laid??? the bottom on all SJ's 94+ are SMC.

i had mine on for 8 months, and was the biggest pain to get it off. like i said i used massive amounts of anti-seize. i do ride salt, but i still don't think i should have that hard of a time getting it to remove.

if i were to use another WDK bracket... i'd put studs into it, instead of inserting a bolt in the bottom side... i had trouble getting a couple bolts to come out even though i slathered the bolts with anti-seize before installing.

when you say holidays, do you mean labor and memorial day?

just depends on the type of riding you want to do in the future... surf riding and re-entries, straps are a must, but if you want to concentrate on nose stabs, barrel rolls, back flips, then you might want to go with holds.
