I'm using a RN pole with a RN bracket on my SN. I did NOT do any grinding to the pole. It moves plenty far enough up. Still has the bump stops, but those are never touch b/c you should always run a limiting rope anyways. you can see a pic of how far it extends in this post...

i haven't personally seen one of those, but that bracket from ski innovations seems like it would be a great conversion bracket

fill the triangle shape voids with foam... shave the foam flat and level with the underside of the pole bracket area. lay glass the covers the whole bracket area, the foam, and wrap it down to the sides of the ski. make it look like mine, but wrap it further down the side of the ski, unless...

i'd do the bracket area first, then the nose, can't really do both at the same time.

good deal... i only asked about the screws b/c i know some people like that extra assurance that the sponsons won't pop off. Any plan on doing a design that doesn't have the extra chime in it? a design more like a Tubbie I?

I have only ridden my tubbie I's on the lake once since installing, but they made my ability to carve and cut 100x better. it was ridiculous how much better the ski handled.

x2 only way to truely align it is with the midshaft out... you want the pump drive shaft to be truly centered inside the hole where the mid shaft attaches.
