The hoodshell is an exact FX-1 copy... no channel. I think Jeff would like a channeled hood but that would mean a new mold (he wouldn't modify an existing hood to put a channel in it). Same for the top deck.

I just talked to Jeff, it seems he's making good progress on your hull, he said he will have pictures of it painted in a few days. And I don't think the hood is done yet. You must be getting a prepreg hood, they are a PITA to layup.

If it runs good, you don't need to mess with the screws. Let someone who knows what it should feel like ride it, and he'll tell you if it's good or not.

My setup's a 1-off. If I had ordered a REV or X-Jet I'd have it long ago... but it's still nice to give Jeff grief for not shipping it yet :biggthumpup:

yeah, it doesn't work out to anywehre close to 1000cc if you use 91mm stroke.
