Just got done assembling my new engine (790cc Wammer big bore, bought well used:biggrin: ) & decided to do a compression check before it ever started. I noticed 8 PSi difference between cylinders. Odd I thought, but figured it needed to break in.
After about 4 gallons thru it the difference is...

That looks more like grease than 2 stroke oil. It's good practice to lube the seals, most use 2 stroke oil, but maybe grease was used & the excess on the outside flung off.
