Looking for a replacement for my 3 year old slippery large. This is for ocean freeriding, and needs good flotation, but NOT riding up when swimming after the ski.:biggrin: Ski is a 2000 SJ w/stock darkish blue paint. What's currently available?

What are the "optimal" openings for the low and high speed adjusters? For 38s it's supposedly around 1 turn each, but I'm clueless on OEM 44s....:dunno:

You need to check max sustained RPM w/a tiny tach, & tune the HS adjusters for the highest sustained RPM. There are articles decribing this. If you obtain max RPM w/HS adjuster around 1.0 turns out your main jets are correct. Have you tried small adjustments on the FPP head pipe screws? BIG...

My little Bro's B'day is coming up soon and he needs a finger throttle for his 100% stock 2000 XPL. I'm no Dooer but I once rode an XPL w/a KVPI and it was too skinny and dug into your finger too much. What's a better alternative for $40 - $50?
