    Piston Burner Part DEUX

Been reading up - If it went lean it should have had ~some~ signs of detonation, & there are none. Also, it was running fine, hitting off the bottom fine - if it were lean it should have hesitated off the bottom. I'm thinking it wasn't from being lean at all.....

I did do a leakdown last time I rebuilt it, but didn't do one today. Guess I'll put the jugs back on & test it tomorrow.

    Piston Burner Part DEUX

On 3/9/06 I lost the front cylinder, and attributed it to a clogged cooling line (first pic). Well, it happened again today, and both pissers were flowing normally both before & after.:banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: (all other pics). Rear cylinder is fine. In both cases part of the...

    anyone for daytona sunday?

Which is better sheltered for a 20-25 knot northeast wind? I'll ride either, but want to minimize the washing machine effect. At Ponce you can ride inside the inlet. At the spot (you're not supposed to name it Butti:poke: ) I don't think that'll be an option with all the fishing lines.

I plan on having at least 6' of water. No desire to get squashed or bust up the ski.:aargh4: I'm thinking maybe slower at first.:cheer: When you're right at the setup wake, should you be at like 1/4 throttle or what? I seem to remember watching WaterFreak do a roll in the bay at Sebby at...

    Flatwater roll questions

I've searched but didn't find the answers so here goes: How much water depth is safe for a beginner? My bond line is reinforced; everything else on the hull is stock (2000 RN). Will this be OK for flatwater? Where can I find the best vids for a beginner to watch? Thanks.

    anyone for daytona sunday?

Ah C' mon Butti, that could have happened anywhere.:cheer2: :cheer2: (I have no idea what you're talking about). Ponce will be MUCH cleaner with the north side jetty. Plus, you can always do shark shallows if the outside is too much for ya.:poke:

    Happy Birthday Yamaslut...

Happy B'Day Nick! OT - He's still young Tim - You're not old till you're in your 60s. Like the guy in St. Aug that broke down 2 miles offshore & swam his Kawi stand up in 1 mile before a boat towed him the rest of the way....
