    SX-R 800 Good Deal???

Nothing is special about them. I picked those years because anything 2003 and up still should have a somewhat high resale value. Some SJ'sI see from 96, 97, 01, are up for $3000 or more...which is a total rip since most of them are stock motors, b pipes, footholds, and maybe a pole or paint.

    SX-R 800 Good Deal???

2300 for an 05 is a great deal, not very common. Now I just wish roundnoses from 96 or 97 to 01/02 weren't so overpriced.

What do you guys think of this handlepole...

I believe it is -2. I am honestly not sure. I am 6'1" and I have an RRP on my limited. I have it like 3 or 4 inches shorter and I love it. Back only bugged me in the beginning of the season since I couldnt ride all winter. Just call Dales up and buy one, you do not really find these used too...

    SX-R 800 Good Deal???

That is a relatively high price in my honest opinion. All modifications listed are the most common modifications on all skis, none of which honestly reflect a re-sale value. The one mod that is best is the factory wet pipe. $4000 at most unless it is just in perfect shape.

    SECOND batch of parts back...

Strap it to the roof. I have the whole roundnose/freestyle itch again. If the economy was better I'd sell my limited and get a roundy for sure.

What do you guys think of this handlepole...

I do not think it is the best looking pole, but the one on my sisters ski is very nice. I do not know how anyone can break the plastics unless you don't take care of your stuff or you just plain beat on it. To convert to any SJ pole, you will need to buy a SJ/kawi conversion turn plate, umi...

How many racers on the X?

Racing since 2005, did my first race in Harbor Beach in 2004 and 2005 was my first full season. Raced Novice ski stock and limited, won a few regional championships, now in Expert Limited and occasionally pro-am stock, but not too often cuz of all the cheating and BS. Plan on being back for...

    Nice.

    2010 sxr!

The new skis definitely look sick. I think 6400 OTD is still high, but MSRP was much lower when I bought my stock ski brand new in 04. Leftovers are the ticket!

    installing dual pulse lines?

I have not had a problem with it on my limited, and there are quite a few other skis similar to mine that all have the pules lines like this, with no issues. I thought the same thing originally.

    installing dual pulse lines?

You can also just use a "T" and run both pulse lines off of one fitting. Works just the same.

    Postma's Superjet Rebuild

We have had some hit and miss winters for sled riding the past few years, and driving way up north all the time gets costly! Nice work so far

    Electrical Box

The hull will flex a bit but the Bracket wont, so the E-box is safe. Getting rid of that bracket to save weight is a moot point. It doesn't weigh that much at all to begin with.

    pipes

The wetpipe is the only way to go for freeriding and messing around. The Dry Pipe is kick arse for racing, no questions asked. TBM's Twin Pipes work great if you can get them tuned right and keep them together, but thats not something all that easy. You can't go wrong with either the Dry or...

    SX-R 800 Bilge Pump Help

Well, if you are getting enough water in your ski to need to pump out 750 GPH you may have other problems haha, so the restriction is not much of an issue. While the stock siphon is not ideal, it's not necessarily worthless. A bilge pump with a float switch is always a good idea!

    experts: need guidance please!

A stator for an 04 and newer is $400+ dollars I believe, I bought one this summer. Something may have shorted out or the stator went bad. Thats a great deal in my eyes as long as there are no other problems

TBM or Skat Trak, you won't go wrong either way.

who makes the best sxr crank

How in the world have you done that? That is insane! I have had good luck with OEM...not one problem. Thats friggin insane, but I guess you just plain old beat on your ski anyway so it'll happen....but it shouldnt that often. I like OEM, have heard good stuff about crankworks, and exactly...
