it should be completely fine on regular 87. SXR-S come factory with 180 pounds and run on 87 all day long. My old 650 was 180 pounds back when I had it a long time ago and I always ran 87. Never one problem

You can simply cut and weld your shaft to whatever length as well. A few guys around here are doing it to their sxr's so they dont have to spend $500 on a skat trak extended drive shaft for their Mag pumps.

the stock ones will wrip off. Jettrim caps have the best fit. turf looks ugly over the rails unless it comes all the way out to the factory hull line.
