I don't see a reason to run it hard. Just run it long enough to make sure its good and hot. You can pretty much count on water in the gas. I pull the tank and completely drain / dry it out. (been there a few times now..)

Ive got my steering on the outside (quickest) hole - which needed to be tapped. To do that you need to adjust both ends of the cable. I think I'd fix whatever is loose first though. Remind later me I'll fine some pics of my hood straps.

Either works as well if you get it spread right. People probly have trouble with the gel if they goop it on too heavy. The important thing is the red label, not the green label "safe" "non flammable" stuff.

My heat gun gets TOO hot on high - turns the turf to brittle charcoal. A good hard dryer is probably as good as the gun on low.. but it sucks borrowing your wifes dryer all the time so get a gun anyway.
