You can get a heat gun from Northern Tool for $9.99 shipped. If you remain in theis sport/hobby it will come in handy plenty in the future for removing decals, etc. You'll save a ton of time versus using the wife's Conair.

My heat gun gets TOO hot on high - turns the turf to brittle charcoal.
A good hard dryer is probably as good as the gun on low.. but it sucks borrowing your wifes dryer all the time so get a gun anyway.

heat guns are your best friend. just be careful when you use it on the turf it does not take to much to get it hot enough. if you are not doing a seemless install or footholds you wont need heat, but I would recommend doing both.

Borrowing? Any experienced wrencher's spouse knows that whenever a household item crosses the threshold into the garage, it becomes a tool permanently. The universe will simply not tolerate items returning to their places in the kitchen drawer or bathroom cabinet....
