70 bucks though... do you have a heat gun? thats what I used and it worked great. I just got the blade real hot and then cut a few inches then went back to the heat gun to keep it hot.

A good sharp knife goes through it easy enough. I didn't see the need for heat.
Be careful with any ignition sources around that glue btw.

heat allows you to cut the turf much much easier. it also gives you a cleaner line. look at a peice of turf cut with a fairly sharp knife and do it again with the knife super hot.

agreed. I normally go through several razor blades during a turf install. I don't toss em, but they just don't cut as well if they aren't brand new and super sharp.

x4......... sharp blades is all you need. you can get a 100 pack from HD for < $8.. expect to use 20+ on any decent turf job.
