What Oil is a "good" oil to use

I've always run Maxima Super M. After 2 seasons, my internals still look brand new.

Can some one give me advice on what is a good oil to use, I'm running an SJ with a 774cc motor with a B-pipe, 175psi, 44 Blackjack carbs (2). MSD enhancer. I've been using Klotz R50, but WOW that stuff is expensive. Any other good brands at a lower price?

Klotz R50 is a very good oil. An option for you is the AMSOIL Dominator Oil.

That is the "Ski Craft" oil, it is good to use.

Klotz R-50 Technoplate is great oil, not good oil....

That and Amsoil Dominator are very good options IMO

I don't know anything about that oil you got... I was saying R-50 is great oil... if it's Klotz I would assume its decent... Just don't know the specifics

Me too. It does not cause any sort of gunky buildup anywhere inside the motor. In the exhaust....that's a different story

Just had my pipe off and it didn't have very much gunk in it and that was after a season.
