for a big job use several small batches of resin ( ie. mix only 15 mins worth at a time ). You still need to work pretty fast to get each layer down before the last one sets.
5-5 also..and I put mine as far up as they would go, limited by the exhaust.
Feels perfect for me (I still suck at freestyle tho!)
(this is on my fx1 so measurements wont do you any good)
drive truck on beach. Pretty soft though so you need to carry the skis the last 10ft or so. Nice for the standups but a bit of a problem if anyone brings a couch.
Anyone without a passport should be applying right now to get one before FSF08 (not kidding!).
..heads up on that: when you apply they take your original birth certificate, so you may want to get an official duplicate of that before starting the process.
In some cases the 'hidden' ones go through a hole cut in the bumper.
(depends on hitch brand and on car model)
If you don't want that, make sure you find out before you buy..
Probably be smart to find a neon owners forum and ask there.
Last year they did not ask for papers for the ski or really look at the ski/trailer at all. Of course you cant count on that..
The guy was however quite rude in the way he grilled us on where we were going. Particularly when I said we were meeting some people he wanted names and I had to say I...
If you leave the ski at anchor and it leaks a bit and starts to go down, with no loop it will go down fast once the port goes under. A loop will buy you a bit of time. Most people never anchor so its a non issue.
Try a screwdriver bit with a ratchet/extension, that way you can torque it and hold force at the same time. Key is to have the right screwdriver tip, big fat one with a blunt end I think.
I Keep meaning to replace those buggers with socket heads..
on the bright side, if you hadn't been flagged for a court appearance you probably would have been looking at a couple hundred fine. (and like most of us paid it rather than going to court.)
Forget about ever taking them out in any easy way.
Also, you are ok with little or no lip on part of the edge, just put an extra layer of glass over that area.
pics of the screws. second image is after removal. I filled the holes with thickened resin then glassed over the whole works..
Sorry about the heavy jpeg-age. (Dialup blows :aargh4:)
Right, if there is a west marine store right next door then your wal mart will carry marine stuff. If there is no place in the county to buy it then they won't carry it either. I'm sure that makes sense to the Wharton boys.
The law in most places says "...or self circling device". Does not say you cant convert from lanyard to self circle. You might develop some argument based on that.
