    Super Jet Superjet pump noise

I'd be curious how off the pump alignment is. just doing the engine is skipping half the process of a proper alignment. I can't help but pull a ski that's new to me apart and find/fix all the little things. I ride surf mostly so it's important to know every nut and bolt.

    650/X-2 Plug Reading; 2 cyl/plugs, 1 carb. What happened?

It honestly doesn't sound like it running bad. the smoke is normal, I wouldn't consider it excessive. I wouldn't judge how it runs out of the water (not under load). report back, I'm curious the hear the results.

Cool project! Atleast today was a nice day with lots of cloud coverage! Whatcha doing in Djibouti? I work at chabelley airfeild, but do spend some time at lemonnier. I can get mail in 10 days of so to my apo and could order off Amazon prime with free shipping. Let me if I can help with any tid...

    Cutting/Welding a used waterbox

It can absolutely be done. An experienced welder can clean and reweld it. I've had several boxes fixed or modified. Here's one from a raider that I chopped up for a js440/701 If ya get yours done the way you want, your more likely to get exactly what you want. Buying a different box may...

    Pole lenght (rider height)

My rearward foot gives me all the control for handling. To short makes the ski feel award and makes me feel like I loose leverage. I nearly always have my weight on my rear foot. Anyways he is asking about "freestyle Backflip riding" so I'm gonna step out.

    Pole lenght (rider height)

There isn't a right or wrong answer. It's preference, and riding style dependant. Rider height is probably much less of a factor compared to riding style.

    Pole lenght (rider height)

5'7" and I also like -3. I don't like it too short because I like to carve around and keep my weight low and back.

    650/X-2 Plug Reading; 2 cyl/plugs, 1 carb. What happened?

That's your ignition coil in the pics. The leads from the coil go to the cdi. Jetski solutions was the right way to go. They do excellent work. The intermittent spark will definitely affect the burn on a plug, because there isn't a burn. The clean unburnt fuel wipes away carbon from the crown...

    Super Jet Superjet pump noise

It's common for the impeller to contact the liner when new, might this be the sound you hear? If so, it will go away as the liner/impeller wears. With all the doubt you have, I say start from scratch and align the pump and engine again. Did ya peek at the pump bearings while you had the pump...

    Custom/Hybrid Kawasaki 550sx-91 with a Yamaha 61X 701 engine.

Why a cart tank? The oem tank fits, just a tad lopsidded. Where you able to find the recommended battery (can't remember what it was)? I couldn't so I ended up using a lithium which turned out to be a strong ass impressive battery. I'm curious how the 550 pump works out, the 440 pump can't...

    Pulse coil

If ya have a stator with a bad coil, yes it's absolutely worth doing. @JetManiac probably sells them. If ya don't already know, he has about anything you need, at a great price.

    Fx1 - Spark plug stuck

There isn't anything to keep it front spinning other than being sandwiched. I put a dab of sealant on the top of the dome where it makes contact with the shell to keep it in place.

    Water routing ?

Yes, using a tachometer to tune your carbs. 170 should be OK for premium pump gas running lots of wot runs.

    Water routing ?

I recomend utilizing the second line in your hull. It's pretty easy to Tapp for a second cooling line. Despite what many will say, 180 is a tad high for running wot for long periods of time. I highly suggest tuning with a tachometer for peak rpm and add an 1/8 of a turn at the least. As for...

    Water routing ?

What engine setup will you be running? I assume you have dual cooling from the pump? If you wanna run separate lines for engine and pump, that's fine. I don't recomend running more lines off head than what goes into the manifold though so pressure stays up. If you have one line in mani, tee...

    Stock airbox nipple question

If it's before the carbs, it can't cause an air leak and make the engine run up.
