How hard is it to replace a pulse coil and "charge" coil on a stator?

Not at all. Crack the screws loose, I had to use an impact driver, they where pretty locked in. Unsolder old coil and solder in new one. Use red locktight on the screws.

I use 60/40 (tin/lead %) rosin core. I like .025" but the diameter is kinda preference.

I dont know what exactly to expect when you get a coil new in package, like if it has wires attached or whatever. I sabotaged one stator to fix another.. Should be straight forward though.

I think it has two wires attached to the coil ? We will see
Charge coil is fairly easy if you are good with soldering. Pulse coil is a bit harder in line connector under protective sheathing. DO NOT use aftrmarket coils or you will be wasting time and money.

If ya have a stator with a bad coil, yes it's absolutely worth doing.
