TBM charging flywheel is it really worth it?

Why not go TL? You've got the rest of the parts. Just switched a boat for a customer and he was very happy. Properly lightened wheels are noticeable IMO, but I wouldn't build that kind of ski/motor and run stock electrics. It's a big piece of the puzzle.

Freestyle Nosing in back flips off a power slide

Guys I couldn't flip a year ago. I've learned these things on my own, via the pancake method. Nothing I've said is meant in a critical/negative way. It's amazing how aggressive you need to be to stay centered. Everyone try's to yank it around. You can't yank until its in the air. Stand centered...

Freestyle Nosing in back flips off a power slide

Your ski sounded horrible on the slide flip. Your setup waves need some work ( they are small and shaped wrong), and you need to slow down, and be sure the nose drops into the bottom of the wave. Slowing down will jet the boat rotate more, but your wave is small and you're timing is off...

Freestyle Nosing in back flips off a power slide

Prolly too far back on ski. It's important to stay rigid and centered. If you lean back, the rear sinks and you pull the ski on top of you. If you pull in yo the bars and stand up tall, rigid, and centered, the ski will gain height and rotate faster.

    Other anti gravity batteries

These batteries have a flat discharge curve. They sit at 13.2-13.5 almost regardless of state of charge. The charger will shut off at 14.4, and almost immediately the battery drops to 13.xx. This is normal and a characteristic of a LiFe chemistry. The other thing worth noting is it could be 13.5...

Lol at the last comment :)....... Did you attempt to have it warrantied and they said no or just bought another?

    Other anti gravity batteries

Good info. A stock charging system won't put out enough voltage to fully charge it. I always suggest a frequent charge to top off (with good charger), even on charging systems. If you ride freestyle and bail a lot, it's more of an issue as the charging system won't keep up, and you're pulling a...

    Other anti gravity batteries

No worries Matt. Biggest warranty change is the " only one replacement". That's been updated. It certainly seems as if something's changed recently. My original 20 cell had 150-200 gallons on it and was still going strong when I sold it to a customer.

It's of the proper design, but I question the accuracy at that price point. I prefer the Fma series, Hyperion, or I chargers. Expect to spend around 75-100 bucks. Well worth it IMO. In over 5 years of dealing with lithiums, I've never poofed one (knocking on wood ;)). Poofing is almost always a...

    Other anti gravity batteries

I've always advocated use of a better charger than their standard charger. A high quality hobby type works wonders, and easily tells you battery condition if you know what to look for. These are microprocessor based cc/cv chargers and I believe they are far better for the batteries than the...

Other Pennsylvania fish commies stuck me bad tonight!

You are mistaken about all USCG vests floating you face up. There are 5 main types of USCG approved jackets. We are required to wear a USCG approved type III, which by definition, is not designed to float you face up. That said, they will write you for a non USCG vest on my local lakes. It's...

Super Jet Need help carb tuning

Ive been sitting back watching this thread, and it appears as if you want a magic answer. There is no such thing. You've been asked to verify timing with a light, but you haven't. You are assuming your timing/electrics are ok.......but they may not be. You've been asked to pressure test your...

    Freestyle 144 v 148 Mag on 1000cc?

1-2 degrees of variance from stated pitch is unfortunately "normal" for our props. My last one was off over 2 degrees on the trailing edge, and was a dog. Once I repitched to what I had ordered, it really woke up.

    Freestyle 144 v 148 Mag on 1000cc?

You should be around a 13/18 or 13/19 in a 148 with that setup, assuming its tuned properly. In a 144, its more like 14/19 to 16/21. That's assuming no engine issues of course. What do you mean by no bottom end? Does the ski rev but not pull, move, or jump out of the water, or is it low on...
