    Surfriding X-Metal trim *cant pull*

I cant help it the pump sticks out so far and the cable already started to bend from being on top, I will change and see if there is a difference.

    Surfriding X-Metal trim *cant pull*

Raider nozzle. We tested the Thrust and x-metal by putting a little bit of weight on them both and the thrust is like butter but the xmetal becomes impossible.

lol yes even when letting off the throttle and pulling the trim but once i hit it again theres no holding it. Don't tell me thrust trim is the only way to go

    OEM 155 Pump Talk

Can someone explain to me what exactly the benefits to a mag pump over stock are?

    Surfriding X-Metal trim *cant pull*

Hey guys, I installed x-metal trim (the stainless ring) on my ski with a brand new cable and under power I cannot pull the trim the instant you hit the throttle you can not hold it. Cable is straight no bends. Is there a reason it cannot be pulled?

    OEM 155 Pump Talk

The 64x cylinders are garbage imo. my buudy ran one in his SN engine was tuned fine and it was crap all around terrible down low and terrible up, only went about 35-40 mphs we swapped a 61x cylinder and 38s and it was night and day. `

If it's a 760 from a b2 I don't see why not but that engine set up is way worse then a 61x

    OEM 155 Pump Talk

I cant give a definitive answer if its worth it. A mag pump in white water is better there's really no arguing that. It depends on where and how you ride, I can say that the 155 out preformed the 144 mag in power it honestly felt like I had a 850 in the ski. If i were you i would stick with the...

    OEM 155 Pump Talk

Okay so if that's the case you can buy a complete 155 pump for sub $200 and now you have everything you need. Impeller is irrelevant both pumps require a impeller even if you have a hooker in your stock pump you still had to pay for it at one point and you can always sell it to offset the cost...

    OEM 155 Pump Talk

The solas mag for arguments sake lets just say its $500 shipped to your door. Both pumps need a prop and the 155 prop cost me $275 shipped which is the same price as a hooker which you need a big hub for a mag. Now for wear ring again both pumps need one if you want to get the most out of it...

    OEM 155 Pump Talk

As for which pump is better solas or oem 155 it all depends on what you ride. I was unable to test it in white water as the surf was pretty small and cold. I would still imagine the solas will stay loaded longer I also have a superjet JD grate on still so its not loading the pump to its...

    OEM 155 Pump Talk

The oem 155 is much cheaper than a solas mag. you can get a 155 pump for around 0-$150 only thing you need is a prop (which both do) and a wear ring unless your pump is from a B2 (I think there is another that uses the threaded ring but im not sure). and if you plan on putting trim the thrust...

    OEM 155 Pump Talk

They are completly different the new one is a softer rubber like the oem is and the metal ring inside isnt as thick as the R&D, honestly I would never recommend the R&D one unless you have to push your pump back like 3mm for some odd reason.

    OEM 155 Pump Talk

I did my buddy was out with his fr2 and we swapped we have pretty much identical setups expect he has a solas 144 mag. The difference I felt is hard to explain but it felt like the solas was loaded faster at IDLE, right off idle the 155 was the clear winner in thrust and power. I cant give a...

    OEM 155 Pump Talk

To elaborate a little more on what it took to set up the 155 pump. First thing is if you don't have an intake duct big enough for a 155 I wouldn't go through the trouble in trying to make one but if your ski already has it and you have/ are putting in a new pump shoe why not do it. The only...

    OEM 155 Pump Talk

Time for an update. I finished my ski and rode it yesterday. Rickter FR2 with a Riva ported cylinder, ADA head 185 psi. bpipe, and MSD. I used a B2 pump with solas wear ring and a impros 7/12 with a stubby cone. This ski rips and rips hard, the bottom, mid range, and even top never stop...
