Right now there are some good deals on FS2's but our buddy wants an fr2 for the stronger hull. When we ride we tend to get over zealous and go for big flips in shallow water or the occasional bail from a over rotated flips where the ski falls flat from 15ft+
What @Gliderskier is trying to say is it worth it for the fr2 over the fs2. His hull for instance has a 3.5 inch crack right below the nose and his hood seal area is all stress cracked.
All you need is a 701 b-pipe, hooker, shorter pole, reinforcement, foot holds, bump the compression up, and a bilge pump. And biggest one of them all "tray time". Oh yea and trim is for girls.
