    what you are missing is that the enhancer is a replacement cdi for the oem cdi and uses the same singl pick up and style coil. traditional msd ignitions are the total loss and non charging style that use individual coils.

    how would an enhancer make a difference? there is only one trigrer wire on the coil and one on the flywheel (61x, 62t, and 6m6) on a dual total loss it does and the 64x oem it does since there is a trigger on the flywheel that signals a retard in the second firing..

    backfire, poor installation, case and bearing locator not lined up will allow room for that to happen... i know from experience on that

    the logic is not wrong, just the idea that your ski is going to sit idleing long enough to over heat the head pipe is my point
