Should I keep one drain plug and swap the other for a versiplug or just go both on versiplugs? Can you screw them out to let the water drain out? I've never looked at one before

These were thru hull plugs. They're all one piece if that makes sense. I unscrew them and they slide out but catch at the end. I'd have to take the whole thing out if I wanted to use the same hole

My thought would be it would make the spring tighter this making the pole sit higher and feel lighter. I could be wrong though. I'm not sure.

Grinded down a 12mm wrench and it fit perfectly. I got shorter bolts for the two middle holes and was able to tighten them down. Put 1211 on it too so we will see if that does the trick. Thanks for the help!
