    B Pipe exhaust manifold leaking

Bolts are flush against the manifold and nothing was hitting the back of the head. Going to try liquid gasket and see how that works

    B Pipe exhaust manifold leaking

The trouble was getting a wrench on the top center bolts. I will try grinding one down and getting in there. I also picked up some stainless Allen head bolts to try as well. I think I would have enough room to get an Allen wrench in there too or cut it down if needed Yes I rejetted the carb...

    B Pipe exhaust manifold leaking

I did not. That might be another issue. Those were giving me lots of trouble on getting them tight. I ended up tightening them enough so the manifold could still slide up and into position. That way I didn't have to tighten much because they were such a pain to tighten with the manifold in...

Here's how I have my lines. Top of the pipe T-ed to the pisser and stinger. Bottom of the head pipe to the head and from the pump T-ed to dual cooling on the bottom of the manifold.

    B Pipe exhaust manifold leaking

I used a razor blade to scrape it off and feel as if I did a good job. I guess I can take a second look at it. Where would you buy the OEM gasket? Should I do that or stick with the one I have?

    B Pipe exhaust manifold leaking

I tried to criss cross the bolts when putting the head on. Didn't use a torque wrench or anything.

    B Pipe exhaust manifold leaking

I just recently bought a bpipe and installed a new gasket (ebay link below) but when I dropped the ski in yesterday I noticed water was pulsing out in between the motor and exhaust manifold. On this gasket, does it matter which way it goes on? Could I have it on backwards? Sorry if this is a...

So I'm checking my pop off pressure with a 145 high, 120 low, 2.5 needle and seat (already in carb), and a 95 gram spring and was getting 15 psi. Am I good or do I need to switch some stuff out to get 18-24 psi?

Super Jet Superjet almost complete. Any final suggestions?

This winter I had to replace a worn driveshaft on my SJ. In the process I decided to replace/add a bunch of other parts as well. I am looking to get my ski in the water this weekend and was wondering if I am overlooking anything or in need of checking/tuning things. The ski got the...

Super Jet Are there any B Pipe coupler alternatives?

I recently got my hands on a b pipe and need a hose to connect the chamber to the waterbox. I was wondering if there was another alternative than spending $50 on a "b pipe hose". The exhaust hose the previous owner of my ski used PVC elbows and a water hose from ACE hardware so i won't be able...

Freestyle Barrel Rolls. Go left or go right?

Going right would feel more comfortable to me. I was worried because i see the majority going left which isn't as natural or comfortable as going right is. Either way Ill just have to try going both ways and see what fits best. I just didn't know if one caused and mechanical issues or has the...

Freestyle Barrel Rolls. Go left or go right?

From what I can tell, I have seen more riders throwing their body left when doing/attempting barrel rolls. Is there any science behind this? Does it have to do with getting water in the engine or anything? Or is it just rider preference? Thanks for the help
