can be an air leak or lack of gas in carburetors. next time pull the throttle wide open or do as you did and choke it. usually happens after ski has been sitting for a while and carb circuits are not full of gas.

yeap,got hot.probably from sand blocking the adjusting screw holes in the headpipe.other than damaging the coupler and paint it's really not a deal breaker

sxrf can jump under right condition but landing really smacks hard.landing tail first is not much of an option seeing how heavy it is on the front .

talk him down to 600 to 700 for a good deal. it is 30 years old so unless it's seen a rebuild or 2 it's probably very tired.

are you using resin or epoxy? do not use resin on smc hulls as it won't hold up

nice holds but won't do you much good with a size 12.have size 9 and with padding and riding boots it was just the right fit
