check you crank for trueness too! crank wobble usually ends up shaking flywheels loose and pitting the mating surfaces

get a shaft and butterfly kit.good to go.the wear in the bore is negligible.. you can put clamps and shims on the shafts to stop this.the slave carb usually is worse.
