Well I do powdercoating... As for the ceramic coating, yes i understand you can do it at lower temperatures... just saying it does not take more than 500*. Depends on what type of ceramic clusters are used (and the material type i guess) But yea, no more than 500* which is certainly not...

Powdercoating takes 350-400* for 10-15 minutes. Never more. Ceramic coating takes 500*. That will not affect your casting in the least.

Ceramic coating is not like powdercoating. Its not a layer that can peel off and has surface tension. Its actually "pounded" and embedded into the porous surface of the metal itself... So i doubt the screws were in the least effect.

i used to dunk in ATF. But no longer. If I have a new bendix I will install it dry. ATF is very thin, and slings everywhere just making the entire timing casing to be a mess. If your going to dunk it in anything at least get some TriTeflon fluid. At least that will penetrate and stay in...

If the chamber is run cooler, so will the couplers. The heat comes from the chamber side, not the head pipe side, which is water cooled.
