There is something else wrong with your ski. A combination of high ports, low compression, and too much pump load can in extreme cases prevent the pipe from ever working. A SMALL EXHAUST LEAK WILL DO THE EXACT SAME THING! Check ignition timing and the impeller pitch, if the timing is good and...
Forget AM radio, I just thought it sounded familiar. As far as questions, I want to know construction method, materials, and weight. I want to know the plan form dimension so I can choose one that fits me and my intended riding conditions. Handling wise, does it have a lot of grip or does it...
It is easy to whip out a new hull, fortunately for them the consumer doesnt know very much. Important technical questions arent being asked and when they are, they never get an answer. Builders think they have an edge with secrets to protect and consumers buy into that crap. What we end up...
I just got mine and the internals appear to be real. The only difference is the armature is potted in yellow resin instead of the white that is in all my old 90s OEM starters.
Most of the "low end" problem will be solved by boring the nozzle and use a low pitched impeller. Response may still be a little softer but it will make more thrust than a stock ported 61X cylinder. A pair of 44s will make the pipe hit a little harder. Tuning is not difficult but must be done on...
They could be leftovers from a ceased production run like Tigershark. He is also selling leftover new snowmobile parts. Look for the inner sleeve that covers the permanent magnets, copies dont have them.
Most people spend $1000s to get that problem. You can lean the pilot, increase pump load, or use the stock exhaust. Just dont complain when it doesnt respond as well or make as much thrust.
Is there much seal drag? If so then keep running it. Once the drag goes away the bearings will get wet and begin to roar. Lots of pump vibration will also shotren seal life and let water in.
Yes, the manifold will fit. I would use the 44 if you do any long full throttle runs since single carb 750s have relatively low vacuum signal. Your current jetting will run but is on the lean side. Get a 120 and 125 pilot and use the one that makes it sputter some around 1/4 throttle. Open the...
You will need to go with the lowest pitch and modify the engine for high RPM in order to get better thrust from a tiny pump. A larger pump is the only way to get decent low speed thrust.
They are common aircraft adhesives. If you dont have access to these then find an aluminum filled industrial epoxy rated for 250F. It is very important to grit blast the case if you want it to stick.
The best method requires grit blasting all bonding surfaces and using a high temp adhesive like Hysol EA934, EA9394, Magnolia 6398, or equivalent. Standard low temp epoxy will work for a while but is not ideal.
The main circuit may be a little hot but if there is no piston scuffing then it is OK. Try opening the top screw 1/2 turn and and see if any power is lost, if so, close it until either power is restored or until the screw is back where it started.
