    One of the requirements of AVGAS is a minimum shelf life of two years. I have antique Suzuki with a three year old tank of mixed pump and avgas that still starts on the first kick every time. For storage there is nothing else like it.

    The only way to make it responsive and have good power is with high compression, high octane, and a programable ignition. Lowering the cylinder will gain response at the expense of power.

    These may rejuvenate the racing scene as long as they can provide financing for young males like they did for standups 20+ years ago. Racing has become a competition of deep pockets, so has freestyle. This has excluded almost everyone with the desire to compete.

    Well, if you have 7% greater displacement and everything else is the same. What do you expect? At least read the old Gordon Jennings book, it is probably floating around the net. Tuned pipes complicate everything so there's a lot to learn.
