    That is all that a direct injected twostroke is. They would be useable in a production standup, but there are more reasons why it wont be used and why no more production standups will be made.     That liner will attenuate the reflection which reduces the pipes efficiency. This may be a good thing on a 500cc dirtbike but watercraft need all the power they can get.

    I talking about the very bottom, make the edge sharp. The rear bondline/tray will always be out of the water once the nose breaks over. If you intend to ride fast make sure the rear edge of the rideplate is the lowest part of the hull.

    Dont leave the rear edge round unless you want it to porpoise at high speed. It will ride like Danielle was on it.

    The odd rich guy or racer is about the only buyers for factory boats since kids cant get financing anymore. I can justify $6000 for a new SJ, any more and A/M is more economical. But I already have enough parts to finish one, without that Im sure a factory boat would be worth more to me.
