I dont think there is any more capcity to be had from the 2t based engine due to the two close bore centers. It makes sense that if they want to make a real high power engine that they develop there own cases and use excisitng cylinders that are already out there. Ie big motor bike cylinders...

Dont worry about it. Your wasting money. If you that concerend about it then remove base gasket and use three bond to seal it up so it drops it 1mm and recess cut the domes in the head.

I had one before with a broken conection cable. I talked with chris about it a few times and ended up getting a new cable. Im not saying that was the issue but if you have no joy then see if you can burrow some one elses cable
1100 /1200 is making that power std. When you work them up they will a lot more and still be reliable. Plus the torque of the big engine makes them nicer to ride
Personally I would say your rich going on the top of the pistons. But tell us when you ride the ski does it hesitate does it stumple when you gas the boat from an idle
