Super Jet 760 intake mani question

Ok I am building a new to me SJ. So far I have picked a new 61X complete top end, ported 62T cases, like new crank, type 4 dry pipe and dual sbn 44s.

My question is can I use a stock 760 intake manifold to accomodate my carbs? Didn't the 760 64X motors come with dual 44's?

Any help is appreciated

Also while we are at the questions. What prop should I be looking for for my setup. I ride mostly big surf days on Lake Michigan. Need help lol former kawi guy and am converting to yamaha. I know the type 4 dry pipe isnt an ideal surf setup, but I can't afford the b pipe at the moment and figure anything is better than stock

the stock intake manifold is not going to work unless you use the stock carbs that go with it. the stock carbs mount to a plate that then bolts to the manifold.the manifold studs are at an angle and do not sit at a straight line thru the intake and in line with the throttle shafts. if you've go 2 stock or aftermarket 44s, they are not going to bolt on that 760 manifold.

I believe there are adapter plates that fit on the 64x intake to put the carbs parallel with each other. I believe protec makes one.

Nevermind i am wrong

So what your saying buzzard is since I don't have the correct matching carbs to the manifold they will not work without the specific bracket.

If so, what are my options? Like what aftermarket ones are available and price
