    Pump Gas Lifespan?

Addressing the original question, I don't see any reason why premixed fuel would last any less than plain fuel in storage. Many two-stroke oils have fuel stabilizers that may even add to the life span (although the mixture could come out of suspension making the point moot). Race gas is...

    size of manifold

If you do decide to make the manifold, take a look at the ATP manifold, they made it in three pieces (top half or runners, bottom half of runners, and flange) and then welded it together. I'm no expert on machining, but I think that trying to cut the runners out of one big chunk will be quite a...

    size of manifold

Why don't you just get a Kawi manifold off eBay and make the adapter plate (what Riva did)? No need to reinvent the intake portion.

I lost 12 lbs last night... Wheeew...

The Odyssey PC310 is small and weighs 6 pounds. I have one, but can't use it very well with my Advent ignition. I expect that it would be fine for any stock CDI or Enhancer.

    Grinding sound from e-box?

I had this happen when I was using one of those super lightweight batteries. In fact, I had instances where the ski kept trying to crank overt even with the lanyard removed. The only mechanical part in the e-box is the starter relay (aside from the micro-motion of the coil transformer iron...

Here's a thread with some discussion on displacement, explaining a little about dome size too: http://www.x-h2o.com/threads/12691&highlight=displacement

    61x 62t differances?

Given those two choices, go with teh 13/20. You'll enjoy it more overall. You might get an extra mph from teh 15/21, but your bottom -end will suffer significantly. I don't know of any (nor do I know of anyone who has one) calculations for this.

    61x 62t differances?

The 62T cases have the reeds placed horizontally, with a straight run into the cases. Some builders believe that this is an advantage. Overall, I think it is just the newness of the 62T design and their availability. When you get to the huge cc motors, both 62T and 61X have a bigger...

    61x 62t differances?

I would say that is pretty correct, based on all the real-world results we have out there. I don't know of anyone who has built a 61X-cased mega motor (big Lamey or ADA) to do a seat-of-the-pants comparison. On the 62T cases, I really would ask for a picture of the intake rework before...

    61x 62t differances?

Oops. Missed that the first read. Can you post a picture of the porting? You may be able to use a reed spacer as the adapter to fix the problem.

    61x 62t differances?

I'd lean toward the 62T if cost isn't the deciding factor. How was the 62T molested? Are the cases damaged, or is the intake damaged? Are you saying that the portwork ran into the threaded holes where the intake mounts?

    61x 62t differances?

62T cases are a little more desirable due to the fact that more people have placed more R&D into building freestyle motors from them. If you're not going with a huge displacement motor (>800cc), I believe that there won't be much of a big difference in what you can get out of them. At least...

Cylinder Displacement Formula & Torque and HP Formula (Post your engine specs)

Here you go: http://www.x-h2o.com/threads/5136&highlight=displacement Note my comments/observations on the mm-for-mm increase on bore vs. stroke, but that's just the math side of things. Even though you get more ccs for a mm increase in bore, you have to factor in the physics leverage...

x metal pole and steering question??

Waterdawg's setup looks to be a nice complete solution. Airtime also has one that I like as it uses bushings (like OEM) and mounts flat to fit any handlepole, but with the Pound/Dollar exchange rate it is quite expensive. I have repeatedly bugged Pat about making a simple bushing spindle to...

x metal pole and steering question??

The best you can do with UMI is to get the JSS tuff thrust and stainless bearing, but then the o-rings still give and you've ultimately spent about $200.00, not $150.00 and its still not right.

    X-Mag

I thought it was primarily the vane section and liner of the Skat Trak pump that adds the weight as they are stainless, right? They are still going to be there from Skat Trak. Billet is denser than cast aluminum, so are you making your sleeve very thin to reduce weight, since billet has more...
