New EME exhaust system for superjets!

The pipe isn't even available yet, and even if anyone has a prototype, do you think they have tested it on enough varieties of motors to be able to answer that?

    who uses 62t cylinders?

Regarding the 62T cylinder, abut five years ago, I bought one of those Riva cylinders out of their catalog thinking it would be great. It was OK. After I met Chuckie at Team Scream, he told me that he could do magic on that cylinder. He did. It was an impressive hard pull. I think there...

    Loose Spark Plugs.

Call ADA and speak to Brooks about it to see if he has seen it before. I've had tons of ADA heads (well realistically five) and never seen such a thing.

    Loose Spark Plugs.

And you have replaced them with new ones and they still come loose?

    Loose Spark Plugs.

Paul, I have a Snap On gauge if you want to swing by during the next couple of days. 225 does sound a little high if you aren't using race gas. Paul and bad93blaster, First of all, determine if your plugs are loosening or are the domes loosening. This will tell you whether the problem...

    i never gap spark plugs

Some of you out there running stock ignitions and Enhancers ought to take out your plugs and try closing the gaps down to about 0.020-0.025". You might find some hidden power. If your gaps are too wide, your spark will be weak at lower rpm and your higher rpm potential will be even further...

wouldnt it be great if there was an alternative

There are many copy shops around the US that offer 3D printing. In particular, last year, on Lawrence Expressway in Santa Clara I just happened upon one. It is becoming more common . Do a search under "rapid prototyping."

    RN shave fuel cap????

I have seen a couple (including Andy's) that have the Blowsion filler cover and the paint reacted with the cover material giving it a coarse orange peel texture.

    B-pipe exhaust manifold gasket

Factory pipe sells them for $6.00 a piece. Alternatively, you can buy a Kawasaki 650 exhaust manifold-to-headpipe gasket as that is what it is. Factory Pipe used the 650 exhaust as the basis for the design of the B-pipe. Ah, I just re-read your post. If you are looking for the...

Cable tie or hose clamp for cooling lines

They also don't tear your hands apart working around them like hose clamps do.

Cable tie or hose clamp for cooling lines

They are called Oetiker clamps. They are used a lot by the beverage industry. I have to thank crammit442 for turning me on to these. They clamp solidly and look great (IMO). If you get them, make sure you get stainless. McMaster carries them. See pic. Zip ties can harden over time as...

    wamiltons vs eme

This time of year you should be able to get decently priced airline tickets. For a 15000+ Euro prchase, I would expect that you make that trip to test ride any ski that you are interested in.

Cable tie or hose clamp for cooling lines

Not sure what the consensus was, but if the tubing wall is soft enough (like Tygon) and there are barbs on the fitting you can get away with zip ties. Overall, clamps would be better as they can compress even hard-walled tubing.

Unknown sealant around my riva head domes

That's an o-ring channel with a red silicone o-ring. You can use regular black (Buna) o-ring material. It comes in long lengths and is available at Riva, or McMaster. If the red stuff came off as one piece you can reuse it. If it broke in one or two places, use 1211 to join the two pieces...

    electrical box removal ?

FX-1 electrical boxes are mounted differently than SJ. They use those three holes that are seen in some of the earlier aluminum halves of the box. Use a hand impact tool or tap a screwdriver with a hammer as you are turning. It is very probable that the stainless has fused to the aluminum...

    Shipping suggestions

Try forwardair.com. They have motorcycle shipping containers. If you can fit the entire ski on trailer in one, that may be your best bet. However, do the math. I am guessing that it will be an additional $150.00-$250.00 to ship the trailer. The buyer can likely find a trailer locally for...
