    I love this website... BUT

Spend a couple hundred dollars on a plane ticket to one of the freerides and you will get to try many people's skis to judge for yourself. Spending $300.00-$500.00 on a weekend trip will be worth a lot more than laying out thousands of dollars with the wrong builder.

    155mm pump in SJ

Certainly the 155mm pumps can give the volume and produce high speeds with big motors, but considering that we are mostly all striving for torque and instantaneous response, I think a 148mm Skat Mag would be a better fit for the WDK1200. At least I would try that first. I'd be curious to...

    155mm pump in SJ

I have not personally run a 155mm pump, but from my understanding of pump theory and from seeing a few friends who have been running large pumps, unless you are running a big hp and torque producing motor, you will actually be mismatched. You will have a very inefficient combination. This is...

    24-7 backflip 7mm lamey build

It'll be strong as long as you ensured that you don't have any air pockets or resin-rich areas in the gap.

    24-7 backflip 7mm lamey build

I'm confused. Is he building a Superjet, or an SXR? Originally this thread started out with him putting together his LPW backflip Superjet, now it has been diverted to some SXR build. Also, everytime someone asks about where Paul is going, the quetion gets diverted. It is kind of odd that...

how long you guys flush engine

As far as I know, Saltaway is just dish detergent. The really nice thing is that little siphon cup that you get with the kit. After buying the initial kit, you can just use Joy or similar.

Check back with this thread when you are contemplating buying a ski from one of these people to get an idea of what you will be getting inside the motor.:ugh2:

http://www.queenford.8m.com/inlet_manifold_anotherstepahead.html It's a very nice manifold. I have one that powers up my 860cc and I don't have any problems with it.

    24-7 backflip 7mm lamey build

...when he gets back. He's going somewhere? Multiply that month to get your motor back by a huge factor. Almost all builders take a lot longer than they say, and that's when they're around full-time.

port 61x or 4 mill stroker?

All things being equal (fuel type, carbs, ignition) the 4mm stroker will give noticeable more power and bottom end due to the leverage effect of the longer stroke. Also, unless your cylinder is already ported by Jetworks (or one of the few other knowledgeable porters), you would gain a lot...

    Stroker compression?

When I first got my Jetworks motor running 150psi (Art wanted to be conservative to ensure there wasn't too much heat buildup with the 90mm pistons) it ran nice, but after I ran it a while, it looked safe to increase compression. In going to 185 I felt a huge difference. I pushed it even...

    T Cyl ?s

Yes, you can. In fact, since the 10mm threads are 10x1.25, you can simply just screw the 8x1.25 inserts in.

    What intake should I get?

Note that there are two different versions of the dominator out there also. One has significantly bigger runner volume (cross section) set up specifically for the M-16 reeds. The other more common one is for OEM and V-Force reeds. On motors approaching 1000cc, I believe that this makes a...

xmetal pole doesnt fit in xmetal bracket?

The bushings can be hard to get in all the way because of the powdercoating. You may have to sand down the coating on the bushing holes of the pole. As the bracket is hand fabricated, it is always possible that the uprights are titled in a bit, but you can spread them a little too.

Waterdawg DRYPIPE testing VIDEO featuring the "SAVAGE"

Nice work Jeff. I have to disagree. I haven't seen anyone do those tricks with such little setup and minimal effort on a 62T-based platform. The closest I have seen to that was that video of Lee Stone in a lagoon from a few years ago when he weighed 75 pounds soaking wet. This is very...

    Blackjacks suck for freestyle?wtf?

Crammit brainwashed me also on the Blackjacks and I couldn't be happier with the crisp throttle response they provide, even after long periods of idling.
