    R&D dominator + VF3 as good as R&D M16??

I don't think there are enough people with experience on VF3's at this point (as you state in your title). Most people have been running VF2's up to now. Here's a thread showing the difference between Dominators for M-16s and Dominators for VF2's...

Super Cheap Waterfront Apartment for Rent in Central NJ (Yearly)

Thanks. I'll definitely be hitting you up for deck suggestions in the near future, but I have to get settled in and caught up financially for a few months after the closing.

Super Cheap Waterfront Apartment for Rent in Central NJ (Yearly)

The current apartment that I live in will be coming available in the next month or so as I have decided to purchase a house. I wanted to let people know about this jet-ski-friendly locale that is very affordable. It is a cozy one-bedroom apartment about 50 feet from a boat ramp on the Shark...

    tips on pulling motor

Not only would I leave the engine in, but I would also install them one at a time and test after each install so that you don't encounter the same problem many others have on here where they install five things and have problems and don't know where to look. Start with either the MSD or head...

The inevitable total loss woes(now with pics)

Right now you aren't getting any performance. If the OEM coil does give less, it won't be noticeable. The bigger benefit of TL is just that, the TL.

The inevitable total loss woes(now with pics)

Yes, it will fire the stock coil. If that doesn't work though, don't kill yourself chasing nexted problems. Get the OEM ignition in there and get it running as best as you can and then afterwards you can play with TL. Also, you didn't mention it, but you are still running a small...

The inevitable total loss woes(now with pics)

Best advice I see on this thread so far. You changed a lot of things at once. It is very likely that it is the ignition, but you never know. It could be somthing with the way you re-hooked up your fuel lines, etc. Put back the stock ignition and make sure it runs good. This will do three...

Causes for a sheared woodruff key?

Yes the dealer will have it. It is a common key that they use on most Yamaha watercraft a well as the same one for Banshee quads believe it or not. I am pretty sure that it happened due to not having the flywheel on all the way (possibly because of interfernce, so like wedo said, make sure...

    48 Novi's?

Agreed. Don't even look into jetting. Focus on the fundamental mechanical operation.

    cheapest flywheel puller?

I also had that fear, but to date (after easily pulling off more than 20 flywheels) I have only destroyed the washers. In fact, I still curl Grade 8 hardened washers. The rotating tip is also a bit worn, bu tit is still usable. Not bad for $10.00.

    polished bpipe chamber

Some of you are probably reading this and wondering what it is like to take a sander to your chamber. Yes, the first touchdown of the sander was indeed tough to handle.

    polished bpipe chamber

I'm not so sure that the ceramic coating keeps its lustre forever in the salt environment. I used to think that. I now think that a highly polished surface can keep up with a ceramic coating, based on my experience with both.

    polished bpipe chamber

I just did the top siide of my mod chamber this weekend. It really takes a lot of work. You first have to evaluate the number and depth of the nicks. I used a DA sander and took 80 grit (only briefly), then 120, then 320 to it. Then I used an 8" polishing wheel. It came out nice, but really...

Sorry Guys .....3 more little Questions?

Yes, it holds up. I've going on my third season. The trick covering that someone spoke of is a braided loom. Take a good look at your coil wires and notice how they get dents and cuts from touching parts of your motor as it vibrates. This will ultimately lead to arcing. This loom prevents...

    Dayum these are BLINGIN!

Agreed, and I think that applies to the ATP as well. I think you have to decide what type of riding you like to do. But, on some of these big cc motors, I think most people would have a hard time riding more than a few seconds WOT. Take a moment and count to 5 seconds. That's actually...

    Dayum these are BLINGIN!

Crammit and I have been discussing the differences between the Kawi single (Riva) and ATP single. He pointed out (and I agree) that there is likely not a noticeable difference. In fact, due to the smaller runners in the Kawi intake, if either, you might even feel more power in that. However...

    Buying a used MSD Enhancer

I'd say "guaranteed not to be DOA" is fair. Solid state electronics don't gradually fail, they just stop working. If the buyer installs it and it works at the time of install, it would make sense to consider it good.

    Your Favorite Freestyle Handlepole

I see a lot of the pros running the Rick roy Products (RRP) pole, but I have felt that and noticed that it is quite heavy. When you are making tons of hp, you can sacrifice a little weight. I personally think the XMetal is a very clean and sexy pole, but if you are really out for the lightest...

    wr/sj conversion help please

Ah. Now I see where you're coming from. The SJ uses bolts instead of studs (the studs have to be threaded into the cylinder bolt holes also), but yes, same principle.

    wr/sj conversion help please

I think you got it, but you're not changing studs, you're changing the threaded hole where your exhaust manifold bolts will go from 10mm to 8mm.
