    What would you do next?

I'd suggest a 4 or 5mm stroker crank. Displacement for displacement you get more torque from the stroker crank than going big bore (don't know how noticeable it is, but the physics don't lie). If you go with a 4mm stroker, you can use your existing cylinder. Basically you'll pay for the...

    BR8EIX plugs

I'm not saying you have to change them frequently and certainly once a season is usually fine. Just that an extra $4.00/month is not going to hurt so bad compared to all of the other money we spend on these.

    BR8EIX plugs

X2. Don't wait until they act up though. Think of how much you spend on your fuel and oil. Plugs are less than that. In fact, if you change your plugs every month or so you can monitor how your motor is firing and see any changes indicating rich or lean conditions.

Rev Limiter off the start..... (Prop Size)

Your ski sounds very similar to Kenny's 08 setup (that Pete helped with). Go with the same prop he used.

    Who knows the answer ??????

A lot to mention here. First of all, when you order a FP manifold, you need to know whether you need the manifold to have holes sized for 8mm bolts or sized for 10mm bolts. The 650 (6m6) and 701 (61X) cylinder use 8mm bolts. The 62T 701 cylinder uses 10mm bolts. FP sells manifolds for both...

    opinions on scuppers

My scupper flaps wear and hang open. I have scupper tunnels in my Watercraft Factory hull (great concept, but limited by flappers that wear out). I'm going to cut a solid disk of aluminum to replace the scupper flapper and thread in the Versiplug to replace the rubber flap.

My SN wants to go faster

This is exactly what you need. Run it exactly as it comes with the same pistons. Just new gaskets. Also, that is being sold by Mile9c1 on the board here. He's a good guy and wouldn't steer you wrong.

    300/440/550 unmanned 550 top speed

Ballast is one possibility to aid with the porpoising. Another possibility is to build an adjustable, extended ride plate and play around with the length. I think that is what you were alluding to with the trim system. If you can do it with a ride plate or ballast, I'd opt for that (less...

    where to find stator plates?

As far as I know stator plates are sold only as part of the stator assembly. You might try John at Jet Ski Solutions as he rewinds and rebuilds stator assemblies and may be willing to sell just the plate. He also sells stator washers which can possibly help you use your current stator assembly...

    need help, superjet cuts out

Exactly. Use common sense to find the source of this problem. Are you low on fuel? When the nose of the ski pulls up you could be running dry. Is your air intake somehow restricted? Run on flatwater without the hood (carefully of course) to see if you still have the problem. Check...

    Urgent help

One thing you might consider is to use an automotive tailpipe expander (about $12.00 from Harbor Freight) and heat gun to expand your current hose. Do this slowly and in two or three stages over the course of two days and it will be permanently enlarged.

    starter relay

I don't think you have any corrosion at the on/off switch (but check that of course during your troubleshooting). The fact that you get the clicks makes me think that the on/off switch side of things is OK as that is low current. Rather, I would look into the higher current draw wiring...

    Race Fuel

Try this guy for VP. I'm happy with him and he sells below retail. Mike at Mike's Performance Center 2200 Belmar Blvd. Wall, NJ 07719 (732) 280-4848 Also, I've been playing around with VP-113 for the past year. It has a similar octane rating to C12, but is oxygenated like MS-109 and...

    61x ebox wiring question

Most of what you wrote sounds correct. I know that John sometimes uses the solid white in place of the white/red on the stator wire when he redoes them. The only thing that should be different from original is that you are not using the pink (temp). Take a closer look to find the mate for the...

I will be driving from NJ to Florida on Monday, March 2 and have space in my pickup bed for a standup if anyone has bought a ski or needs a ski transported.

    Ski-innovations.com!

That's a really nice simple design on the bilge pump bracket. Just out of curiosity why do you only market it for SN? Isn't everything back there at the midshaft the same for a RN, i.e., won't this also fit a RN?

    Question on GP800 Starter

I had this starter for sale for what I am quite certain is a GP800: http://www.x-h2o.com/threads/46413 Look at the picture. It has an additional (third) unmachined ear in the center between the two mounting bolt holes. Does anyone know what this is for? Or is this perhaps not a GP800...

Super Cheap Waterfront Apartment for Rent in Central NJ (Yearly)

I'm just moving around the corner, same town. I was going to post some pictures, but I am on a business trip in Germany until July 1st and really don't have any except for these of one of the moon tide days combined with excess rain in which I rode my ski down the street. This is looking out...
