Yes I will put some turf on the tank, I also put some turf on the power factor water box, and I always turf my battery.
When I install the power factor pipe I will make some support blocks out of 25 mil foam, also might glass 2 more inserts for the power factor pipe since I'm going to be...
Zack was right... Mounts on the FW cover are for a strap to hold the tank tight to the FW cover... I will also glass 2 inserts on either side of the tank to hold it on both sides to the hull... Pics to follow on that

Yeah Roo my first plan was to have the firewall tank and a front jazz 2 gal tank... Was going to run the pickup on the jazz tank to the vent on the firewall tank. So you could have just the rear tank or both for long rides..
Problem was things got real tight, you have to mount the ebox to the...
It has spacers you install behind the couple on either the midshaft or crank side.. That's how you can move the engine forward or back... Right now I'm running just the spacer on the midshaft..
It's a cool system ...
But yes you keep the RN midshaft..
The battery I installed 2 inserts just behind the motor mount plate infront of the scupper. Water can flow under, around either side and still flow out the scupper.mthe battery sits about 1.5 inch in front of the scupper. I learned along time ago water will find away, lol... I turfed the battery...
