Actually the Di is a very reliable setup. Every one of them I've had in for repairs was neglected with NEVER any maintenance. Slightly plugged fuel filters that NEVER get changed is the most common killer of those. The Di machine WILL NOT tolerate crap gas or poor maintenance. As WFO said, good...

I just sold a SUPER NICE '98 GSX with a 951 and only 78 hours for $2500 on a trailer. I have it's twin here with around 130 hours and a few aftermarket goodies. It will start and run but has flywheel/bendix issue with nasty metal on metal noises. 1k.........you know anybody coming to Northern...

Check Home Depot too. A lot of times their Rust-Oleum prices are cheaper than Walmart. Next time you need a plain color with no pearl or metallic try that Colorshot stuff. I was thinking that might have been Duplicator, I've always liked their stuff as well.

Is that from a spray can? What kind? I've been impressed so far with the narrow "Colorshot" spray cans that Walmart now carries. They seem to be pressurized enough to atomize pretty decent, and it lays out nice. It has a very stout odor like Dupont or PPG.

Gotta watch them spray cans........nobody labels anymore whether it's enamel or acrylic or whatever. I've even had Rust-Oleum paint react with Rust-Oleum paint!!

This is what it's like in REAL LIFE. Fill, sand, repeat, over and over. Not any of that 15 minutes and it's perfect crap that everybody sees on TV.

I worked the pole a little bit this evening....err.....wait........ ............ ........got the pole mostly blocked out. You see all those light and dark areas? Those WERE all highs and lows....peaks and valleys. But now after blocking the surfaces are FLAT. Just wetsanding SMOOTH.....IS NOT...

I've seen them worse and still not cavitate. That impeller IS pretty beat though, and I can see the cavitation burn on each blade near the hub. Could be sucking air around the pump housing seal.

How do you get to the lake? A vehicle? Why not just buy a $35 inverter from Wal-Mart, hook it to your car battery, and plug in your regular charger?
