Be careful there - a compression pressure reading is not the final story on what octane gas to run. Mine runs over 200psi and uses pump gas - it depends a lot on the porting. Measure the dome volume and calculate the compression ratio based on volumes for the correct answer.

You always get two waves. It gets a lot bigger of you have trim and pull that in the turn, but you can't make two waves from the same hull meet in one peak. The peaking comes from the wave being made as you turn, but you'll always get two.
