turfing with underpad

so im putting the turf down and i have only turfed once before with my footwells. i am now using underpad for the tops of my feet in the footwells. Does anyone have any suggestions or things that helped make there turfing go smoother? its just so a bitch with all the angles of the footwells thanks rod

use a heat gun, have lot's of patience, think everything through, relax, breathe easy, HAVE PLENTY OF VENTILATION!, did i mention heat?

Another good tip when working in awkward areas is to use parchment paper to stop the turf sticking in places before you are ready for it to. For example, when turfing deep in the holds sometimes you don't want it to bond around the curve on top of your foot right away. Cut some parchment paper to fit there leaving a big piece to grab hold of, then you can work up under the hold without fear of screwing up. Once you have the inside bonded nicely then slide out the parchment paper and you can bond the rest. Makes like a LOT easier.
