Full Face Helmet w/ Waterproof or Water Resistant Liner?

You have to worry about both. The Cascade lacrosse helmets are expensive because they do both, and very well. I've taken my pole in the face and the CSX just softly cushions the blow - the chin strap works great for face shots. I've also had the ski land on my head in a failed backflip and...

Wow! So you get a 1 year warranty against defective parts, and your insurance company gets a lifetime warranty...!

New to the stand up world..

Sure, lookout for a superjet (keep your eye on cragslist!), but have a blast on the 440 in the mean time! You'll learn a lot just messing around riding it and learning some basic tricks that don't need low end. Try learning some hood tricks, and simple things like that. They are fun to learn but...

    Help with Nose Stab please...(pics)

That helps, but it's not necessary. You don't need much air at all for a pretty decent nose stab.

Help weird low end bog after hard hit.

Maybe you just got water in the carbs. How much have you ridden it since?

    Rate your freestyle ability

Yeah, but you kind of have to rate the level in each trick too. If you compared my barrel roll to someone like Stanton you'd give me about 1 out of 10 and him 10.

    Help with Nose Stab please...(pics)

I agree. The wake actually adds a level of difficulty rather than making it easier.

    Help with Nose Stab please...(pics)

I would practice without any wake at all - you can do a perfectly great nose stab with an all stock ski with the right technique. Practice slaloming and unweighting the turns like snow-skiing: zig-zag left and right sinking your body into the apex of the turn and unweighting as you come out of...

BTW, compare my body position in my avatar with yours - you can see how my weight is further forward. That's a look-back stab, so my head is up, but you can see how the bars are pulled into my hips

    Help with Nose Stab please...(pics)

You need to throw your weight further forward to get the rotation you are looking for. I always tell people to try to take a bite out of he gas cap on a RN - that's where you want your weight to be. Also, x2 on the quick turn plate (or mod) - steering throw helps too. The mistake people make...

Who needs a stinking trailer? Not Me! (Update: Version 2)

It's a problem when the water is shallow, but I nearly always launch on a concrete ramp at the lake so it's doesn't affect me. At the beach I put the ski on my beach cart which lines up at exactly the right height with the rollers. You can push it up single handed from there - it really glides...

    adjustment screw help

Make sure you re-tap the threads before you put new ones in and use anti-seize. I would also replace with P-Diddy's BK Twisters which are longer and have a T on top for adjustment with your fingers - makes them much easier to get out of they get stuck too.

Just keep peeling - it'll come off. But now is the time to commit crime if you had it in mind: no fingerprints!!

Who needs a stinking trailer? Not Me! (Update: Version 2)

Here's my setup which is a similar idea including the street luge. I used rollerblade wheels which can take a lot of weight and spin very freely. I don't use a winch - you don't need it: one quick blip of the throttle and the ski pops right up into the back of the truck. The top wheel;s are very...
