Sweet build! Love the Bridgeport video boring the nozzle! If you ever wanna come south a bit we’ve got a decent size riding group in south east PA area.
Follow up on my dead zeel. I can connect to it and read it. It buzzes like it’s making spark but doesn’t make it to the coil. https://youtube.com/shorts/F7_JxSwDYX0?feature=share
Looks like one small spark in the video but that’s just my fluorescent lights.
It pains me to say this since all I ever do is talk about how good zeel is, but I think there may be a bad batch of the newer version A02T. Just bought a brand new one as a backup. Lost a flywheel ring gear the other day and while I had everything apart I built myself a brand new ignition with...
Check for air leaks. Put hand over carbs and see if front one is pushing air back out (bad reeds). Rev on trailer with flame arrestors off and visually check if u get similar fuel out of the boosters in each carb
That’s drastically different jetting. With more timing you are usually able to dial it in with just low/high screw changes and maybe one jet size change. I’d go back to whatever worked last year and see how far off the fueling is.
Update: help section (dorman) at auto zone has a woodruff key assortment. There’s on in the kit with a width that is really close. Had to grind it down as it was too tall but it will definitely get me by for a few rides til I get an oem one back in there. Can’t miss riding days in the short PA...
Just like title says… sheared a flywheel key tonight and want to ride tomorrow. JM is fast as hell so I’m maybe good for the weekend, but where can I get a key locally that will work until then? Home Depot? Lowe’s? Harbor freight key set? Thanks in advance!

I think the 760 stuff is still beneficial in many ways. Not having to pull flywheel to replace stator/pickup is really nice. Also, just needing that little pickup is nice for TL as well.
Looks incredible. Love the replaceable mounting plate. what are the nozzle sizes? 90? Cable mount looks like standard xscream which is awesome cause people already have spares.
check for air leaks. Sounds pretty normal though. Are you priming it somehow? If not, prime it and see if it still does it (choke the carbs somehow - hand over each carb for a couple seconds, flame arrestors covers, etc)
Quick visual check is see if one piston is all the way down when one is all the way up. If one is at TDC and u rotate a bit more before the other one reaches the bottom, you’ve got a problem.
