you missed the biggest upgrade,it comes with a remote control that activates record on off,this alone makes it 100% better if you are the one who also has to cut the edits. Ill buy one in a sec if the frame rates look smooth and the remote works well
#0 We have both the high dollar hel cam that have backpacks and lancs and the old org sci cams, the wires and packpacks along with camcorder issues made us quit using them every ride,the org sci cams shot narrow feild 1 hour straight vids,no one ever wanted to weed through all the crap to cut a edit and get a headache. having to hit the button on your head doesnt cut it,you dont know if you hit it hard enough and you can lose touch with if its on record or not. A small remote with a red and green light that you can wear on your wrist makes this a VERY user friendly system.its worth the $ you dont even wana know how much our other cams cost.
Rivet the strap mount to the side of your helmet.I've got the ATC2K. Not impressed.. I think I'd like it better if we came up with a solid mounting solution. ALL of the video'
I agree on the light.. I can't ever hear if the ATC2K beeps or whatever the hell it does to start and stop.
s we've made come out looking like ass.
I was using it the other day, had it strapped TIGHTLY onto my helmet with the rubber band it comes with. That thing is a bad idea. Fast solution, bad idea.
I landed the roll about 2/3 around with my head in the water first. The strap flew down and snapped me right in the eyes. :dead1:
Took me a minute of swimming around to get the cam and helmet both off. I need to screw that thing to the etRiv
