Here is what I have so far.:bananapowerslide: They are 4' long.

I did not see a spot for front exhaust so is your exhaust going to come out of the side of the sponson or are you running rear exhaust?

On my ski I will just take the finished sponson and trim the front to fit around it probably, I really don't want to fock with the thru hull now that its done.

My hull was damaged considerably on the left side and left bottom,the side has been repaired except for the very front part,I will probably be doing a mod similar to Crabs on the bottom of the x2 this winter,it would be easier than trying to put the stock hull lines back in I think .I may change it up some but it will be similar for sure,thanks Crab for showing us the way.

The stuff I used is called PVC foam.it came from Farco Plastics,The neat thing is that the whole sheet is about $85.00 .It is thermoformable with a heat gun or for smaller pieces putting it in an oven at 150 degrees for a very short period.That is how I formed the curve to the hull,you heat it and form it on the hull while it cures,takes about a minute or two.The pic below is what the sponson looked like before it was installed and glassed on,as you can see it was two seperate pieces that were cut out ,thermoformed and glued and screwed to the hull then glassed over and faired with west system filler.The first one was reshaped fter I installed it,on the second one I did most of the shaping before I installed it.

and Crab you can save us couple bucks on shipping by sanding two sets to one person we live not to far apart

Ummmmmm Crab I know that much,mine looks almost just like it now,thanks for the ideas.Now if you were takling about splashing a mold off yours then producing a piece from that mold,that I would understand,Is that what they are asking for?
