WaveDemon's 66e SJ Conversion - new ride report.

I'm no mathematician but that's a 400 dollar savings if you buy both and 1000 dollars cheaper if you don't purchase the exhaust system.

This is intentional as Jeff would rather not sell them seperately.

Let see that motor in action I know somebodys going to be on the water with this setup before me so I want the review!!:smokin:

this manifold is so straight I use it to straighten my straight edge.

this manifold is so tight I use it to check my pressure gauges for leaks.

Thanks for the concerns guys.

This is awesome. I bet Ketsair hasn't even seen this thread. It will definitely be the subject of conversation when I get up to his house this weekend. Agua come up and ride on sat.

ride report:

I had a little less than an hour to kill today so I took the ski to the water. I was pretty happy with the way it ran for just dropping it in with no tuning. It actually ran well. The ride was cut a little shorter than the little time I had because my bilge pump died. I'm running low open carbs so I didn't want to push my luck.

I need to tune the carbs, adjust the powervalves (they were non-functional today), put some restriction in the cooling lines (the engine was not very warm after running), tune the pipe, build a sheetmetal arrestor. after I get it tuned better I'm going to look a little more into cutting the bottom of the cylinders to lower port timing.
