So, I'm assuming your "flame arrestor" is going to be more of a "shield" with the openings pointed upwards? I guess there's no real need for a traditional flame arrestor other than meeting coast guard requirements, right?

kinda. it's got a little more involved to prevent bucketing water.

installed the bilge pump today, fixed the frozen jet. I'm going to mill the ebox at the mounts so I can bolt it on next time instead of zip tie. Monday I'm going to figure out whats up with the non functioning PV motor. I'll ride it early next week again.

I'm on a early mothers day vacation for the rest of the week/weekend.

I might have the cables hooked up wrong. I'm going to start it up with the cables unhooked and see if they work.

If you need to know what goes to what let me know. IF the motor is good and hooked up right when you bump the start(don't start the engine) few secs after pressing it you should hear the PV motor cycle

cool, I'm pretty sure I had them on right. I flipped the pulley over to the front side of the motor so I swaped the cable ends. hopefully I just didn't have them tensioned properly.

Its been awhile since I ran the motor I now have gas valves but I believe the cable slack was .5-1.5mm

Something you might want to look into is the Pro-tec powervavle controller

I ran out of wrenching time so I didn't test the electirc PV motor and just pinned the PV's up. wow, what a difference. right now it has more power all over than my old frankenstein and we're still tuning it in mostly stock form.

Too bad there are not some cheap gas powervalve setups out there, the electric operated powervalve make no sense to me at all.

I agree.

Wavedemon: would gave valves clear your mani and the B-pipe headpipe without grinding and welding? Also what is your current jet specs
I think I would have to grind and weld.

Wedo, did you ever find a sea-doo power valve flange for me to look at?

My jetting specs now are stock with the low jets turned in a 1/4 turn.

I plugged in the PV motor and started the ski. when I start the ski it'll move to a certain position if it's not already there. it doesn't cycle when I turn off the ski. I'm not sure if it's doing what it's supposed to do.

I've been talking to the guy from DASA over PMs, I've asked him for some porting advice . I guess he's not down for the cause because they do porting for 1300r's. I didn't think it would be that related. :dunno:
