if it is either the bendix or starter which likely it is... the next step you need to make is to ensure you buy OEM, dont buy the cheaper a/m ones, the OEM are more money but worth every cent
So I put a additional ground cable on my flywheel and what so you know it cranked up. So now I guess my options are to get a new cable or should I run two cables. I may still soak the bendix.
Replace the bad cable with a new one.
No need to run two of them.
First start up...So exciting and frustrating at the same time!
you do need to break in the motor under load, but hooking it up to a hose to make sure your going to get more then 30 seconds of run time cant be a bad idea, I was thinking about doing the same...anything to reduce the chance of wrenching on the beachDon't try to break in the engine on the hose. The motor needs to have a load on it to properly seal the rings.
