It had something to do with 'exploding footholds'.
16 ounces of warm unexpanded foam
Poorly mixed epoxy resin
+ 'nearly' cured glass
a foam volcano the pushes the bottom of the foothold up and oozes foam down the side of the nice paint job.:banghead: :banghead:

It was kinda cool to watch
Oh, that sucks, seems like something I would do.

I'll get some pics of the wiring tomorrow, as for the footholds. . . no pics of those. Matt however did teach me some new words and some were in German too I think

Sorry for the delay in pics. I still don't have them tonight either as they are still on Matt's camera but I did make a lot of progress tonight. I got the 750 bolted in and I've only run into a couple of problems (other than dropping the last bolt and hearing it roll to the center of the hull under the motor :banghead:)
Problem #1
The fitting on my mod pipe hit the support that goes up to the steering so I'm going to need to get a different fitting and grind on the pipe some.

Problem #2
Was on the other side again w/ the support brace, my flame arrestor would not fit so I got to play with a grinder and Matt finished it off with the dremel, pics to come.

Thanks to Matt for the help with the electronics I would have not gotten it on my own.

Headed back to work on the X2 again tomorrow night, finish it up on Friday some time probably and then test ride Sat to make sure that I'm ready for the freeride next weekend.:woot: :woot: :woot:

It's a modified 650SX stock pipe. (Has water injection added to headpipe).
I need to grind some of the boss of and get a smaller fitting.

No prob...but it ain't running yet

No but it's a LOT closer than at this time yesterday. . .
:woot: :woot: :woot: What pipe are you going with?:woot: :woot: :woot:

I plan on putting a cofmans or westcoast pipe in there this summer (maybe even a b-pipe if one comes along for the right price.)

Luke (suva) modified it and said that he noticed a definite difference after the mod

I picked up both a straight fitting along with a lower profile elbow so we should be good to go:biggthumpup:

Cuz it's fun.

And I am pretty sure that in the event there is a "cheap" B-Pipe for sale, chances are I'll be the buyer. :haha:

So you have a fitting to pull out excess water from the headpipe, and a fitting welded into the stinger to dump it back in? seems like they also reduce the size of the spray hole inside the headpipe to limit the water (for lack of screws), and plug the pipe drain at the rear.

We ran into a couple more problems last night. The pipe will still not fit even with my 180 degree fitting, well it will fit but I can't turn right. I've got a couple of ideas to try and fix the problem. I also discovered that my throttle cable will not work, it about 4 inches too short :banghead:.

I'm going to do something like this, To fix the throttle problem.
